Control iTunes from your browser with a simple, unobtrusive toolbar, FoxyTunes. Despite the name, there is a version for IE available too. This plugin features buttons like play, pause and stop, next or previous track, volume control and various other features that you can configure to suit your needs!

If you have more than one media player installed – like WMP – you’ll need to specify that you’re using iTunes as the primary one.
